The rod was easy to install and only bowed a little in the middle, which, given the length, was better than what I expected. **Q: My window is 120 inches wide will this fit? With the end caps is it a little longer?**

**Q: What size should I buy if my opening is 82”?**
A: I would buy the next size down - you will want the rod to have at least a few inches left over (don't buy one that the highest it will go is 82"). You will want one that expands to at least 84".

Yes you can use it to hang clothes, do you need the 120-140inch for this usage? It is well made, however, I didn't realize how the tension spring worked in this curtain rod and my curtains have grommets that are not that much bigger than the diameter of the rod making it tricky in moving the curtain around. Anyway, good item all in all
