I have found it indispensable for European travel, where the hotels rarely have storage space for ANYTHING. This hangs anywhere and makes organization an absolute breeze. The laundry bag (which is sadly not currently available) holds way more than you would think and I love not having to have my dirty laundry on the floor or in a moldy plastic bag. I had hesitated to buy this because I already owned a full set of packing cubes, but those are useless when there are no drawers to put them in. I can fit a full weeks' worth of clothes in the smaller version of this item (I own the larger version too), and it's great knowing where everything is (I basically pack it like I dress - tops on the top, socks on the bottom). I highly recommend. The way the hooks work, you can hang it from even the thinnest door frame. It took me a while to realize that you can either remove the hooks when traveling, and pack them securely, or tuck them into the bottom elastic so that they don't flop around (which is what I do). Glad they have the teal color now too so I can have one for me and one for my traveling buddy and we know which is which. I'm actually toying with getting a whole set for my closet and using this for my everyday clothing organization; it is better than most closet organizers. The closure on this model (PACK Gear Basics) is velcro. The closure on the other models are either clips or zippers. I hope this helps! **Q: How rigid are the compartment dividers?** A: They aren't rigid, only thin nylon. The entire thing rolls up to almost nothing. I have on that I added a sheet of cardboard for some rigidity, but I like how the rest conform to the next compartment easily. **Q: How stiff are the bottoms of each shelf?** A: They are not rigid. Everything is made of the same thin and flexible fabric but the design keeps the structure relatively stable. The advantage is that in this way it can be made more compact by putting it in the suitcase and more things can fit inside. It holds a lot of clothes, and does a great job keeping them contained and easy to access. Pros: Very large One divided pocket for undergarments (or hygiene stuff) Four additional large pockets The dual hangers are a huge plus, making “unpacking” very easy There is some height adjustments through the hanging feature Zippers meet in the middle (2/shelf) which is an awesome feature. Cons Too large for most backpacks Does not have compression straps (this is the reason behind the 4-star rating) I will take it and get at least two compression straps added to it (likely 4) which may make it comparable with large backpacks.
