I hooked this FEED GARDEN 16 oz Glass Feeder up to my shepherd's hook setup, and it has been fantastic. Here is my honest, real-world take after watching the local hummers use it: It Actually Stays Dry My biggest pet peeve is leaking, especially when the wind picks up and rocks the pole. This base has a really solid gasket seal that holds tight. I haven't noticed a single drip underneath it, which means no sticky mess attracting ants on the ground.
