Review: 24g Protein Shakes are great and digest well! - I bought this because I am sensitive to Gluten, Whey, Lactose and Soy, and all the chemicals added to the commercial Fitness Protein Powders on the market. This protein is an organic pea protein. It mixes really well on its own in a shaker cup. I prefer to make an icy cold shake by adding 8oz water, 3-4 frozen organic cherries and a few organic strawberries to my Vitamix Blender. It tastes so good!! I'm on a fitness muscle gain program. This is perfect for getting my in-between-meals-protein to ramp up my protein intake! Love it.

**Q: Do you send you peas to china to be processed in any way? do the peas leave north america at any point?**
A: No, it stays in the US.

**Q: Why is it and protein isolate instead of concentrate since isolate is so bad for the health?**
A: Protein isolate undergoes more processing, which results in a higher protein content with less carbs, lactose and fat.

**Q: Wouldn't it be better to simply add frozen peas?**
A: It's pea protein powder not straight powdered peas.  I am not adding peas to my smoothies nor do I eat a lot of peas -- too much starch for me.

**Q: Product arrived with a sticker informing me that it has earned a warning from California Prop 65 - does anyone know which contaminant prompted it?**
A: I don't know. Many products state this in CA. I'm assuming it has to do with the plastic container. Perhaps it has BPA or something in it, like most do. Its CA law to point it out. Starbucks coffee beans have the same disclaimer.

I really wanted to like this. But I just don’t like the aftertaste, it taste artificially..would have preferred the pea aftertaste. I still use it though, I just only add a little less than scoop to my smoothie so I can barely taste it. Great benefits though!
