I was able to bend the legs inwards a little to create more grip but inevitably, the holder would move. I was hesitant to drilling the item into the cabinet door in case I wanted to remove them in the future. I was considering using double sided tape. Fast forward, I had to purchase two more for another cabinet and I noticed that the 2-pack (black) item had longer legs, and additionally, it has foam on all the interior surfaces, providing more friction. I'm not sure when this was updated, but these new holders work amazing. I can even grab the bar and open the cabinet door without the holder moving. Who knows if they'll update the rest, but until they do, make sure to purchase the item with the the longer legs.
