Review: GREAT STAINLESS POT - I finally cooked a meat sauce in my huge pot. Worked like a charm. I have a non commercial gas stove. It does take a bit more time to get this pot up to heat but it cooks nicely. I think the triply bottom helps distribute the heat as it was described. I followed the directions by not using high heat once the pot was up to cooking temperature. Cleans nicely too. I do like how the pot is well made with the thick triply bottom and the sturdy handles. I have a 20 quart but I think I'm going to get a 30 quart too.

I finally cooked a meat sauce in my huge pot. Worked like a charm. I have a non commercial gas stove. It does take a bit more time to get this pot up to heat but it cooks nicely. If your in search for a great brew pot this is perfect !! I'm a newbie and I stove top brew with this pot. It is more wide than tall and hovers over two burners perfectly. This pot could certainly withstand an outdoor propane burner. The bottom is thick, the handles are very strong and the lid is a tight fit, no flimsy bendy sidewalls on this baby. My pot doesn't have any polished areas as in the photo. I do 5.5 gallon batches, and at full boil there is plenty of space left up top for the bubblies and what not. Fist thing, don't skip the obvious- clean this thing good, with soap until a paper towel wipes clean.
