Review: Weak magnet - Magnet is not very strong. I tested it and it pulls apart with less than 400g. It is lockable though, but I find that the lock sometimes accidentally disengages, which leaves only the weak magnet to secure the clip.

I got this to go on my Viperade pouch (loops) for my house keys and car keys. I like the compact design. It locks, which is great for keeping your keys in place. One small issue though, it was raining and I was trying to unlock it to get out of the weather and into the house. It is slippery and difficult when wet. If there was texture, like a rubber o ring to fit into the barrel grooves (even just one groove), it would be perfect. Until then, I have to remember to unlock it when it's dry in the car or before leaving the house on rainy days. Knocking a star. but otherwise I love the design and purpose.
