**Q: Are the tips bright?**
A: The base lights up and each individual fiber does not emit light, but the tips do. Looks good in dark room, but room light dramatically diminishes the effect.

**Q: how long are the fibers?**
A: Approximately 9” long

**Q: Can I get instructions on how to set up the remote for this fiber optic lamp? It didn't come with directions for the remote.**
A: I returned it . If u return it it will be better because it is made of cheap materials and will not work long.

**Q: Can you dim this lamp?**
A: You can't dim it but there are different color options and some appear to be more dim than others. For example the "white" option is bright, almost blue. The  "orange" option is more dim and isn't 100% orange. There are maybe 9+ color options and then special effects such as flashing, fade, etc.

It worked well for about a month. We noticed the lights slowly stopped working and wouldn't be as bright as before. The remote stopped functioning. We replaced the batteries on both items and it still did not fix the issue.
