Review: No Brainer If You Need to Read on Camera Regularly - I needed this for a project where I needed to read a lot in front of my camera and I didn't know if I was going to keep it afterwards. I honestly thought about becoming a YouTuber after using this thing! The alloy frame is super durable and although it is heavy, if you have a decent tripod you shouldn't worry. I mounted it all within about 5 minutes after unboxing it, so it was pretty self explanatory as well. I was able to use my Sony ZV-E10 II and a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and it was able to preform with both cameras brilliantly, so compatibility should not be an issue if you have any mirrorless camera. It also started raining outside while I was filming and I was able to continue because of the canvas/plastic material hood that goes over the camera, it protected my equipment from the elements pretty well. The teleprompter app worked well with my tablet and the remote control had seamless connectivity making reading the script I had incredibly easy. The glass is easy to clean as well so when I got home I just wiped it off and no smudges were detected. I still use it to this day and mounting and unmounting it from my tripods is easy and effortless. It was a great purchase!
Review: The software and remote are worth the cost! - I got it working with an desertcart tablet, though I had to install the google play store to get it to load the software (thats a desertcart tablet issue). Now for almost dirt cheap money I have a dedicated teleprompter since on sale the desertcart tablets are really cheap. This unit is designed for a DSLR type camera, but I found using it for an iPhone, that I simply put the iPhone on a tripod with the lens 3 or 4 feet away from my face and then I backed the teleprompter up on another tripod about 9 or 10 feet away and I have to look just over the iphone lens to see the teleprompter. Magic in that my eyes are no longer moving right to left. You really need to get the teleprompter far enough away otherwise you can see your eyes reading it. If I had a big lens DSLR I could do it all in one. But this works brilliant for me. The remote linked to the teleprompter software is amazing!!! Two issues: 1. I haven't figured out how to hold the table on the bracket securely. Its rests there, but I'll have to use rubber bands or velcro. 2. The software is actually decent. I use dropbox to send files to the teleprompter. The only issue is you can't make the margins on the left or right larger so you get a narrower strip of text. Though I moved it far away and solved the issue. Plus at that focal length I don't need reading glasses.

I got it working with an Amazon tablet, though I had to install the google play store to get it to load the software (thats a Amazon tablet issue). Works GREAT - easy set up. Neewer products have never disappointed and are such a good price point. The main important factor of a teleprompter is clean glass and this was great. See sample screen grab. Shot with a Canon 5D. Tamron 80-150mm lens.
