The Masterson pallets that they sell at the art supply stores as well as on Amazon are nice, but a lot of people complained about how hard it was to get the lid on it. I didn't want to fight with it. This palette seals well but it's not hard to get the lid on. It's easy to use. I listen to the reviews and bought different pallet papers to put inside it. The reviews said that the pallet paper that comes with it was to thin. That was easy to fix.
