Kid's "tools" are usually junk and cost just as much as this but my little guy loves to sweep, rake, and push things around outside so this outdoor kit I created will be perfect I think. It is small enough for him but I could also use it if I had to. The bristles are fairly soft but seem like a quality material and the broom is nice and bushy and isn't heavy but isn't too light either which is a good thing because that would mean the plastic was thin and would break easily. Overall it seems pretty sturdy and decently made despite being made in China as everything seems to be.The coolest thing about this broom that they don't even advertise is that it STANDS ON ITS OWN. Yes, you set it bristles down on the floor and it stays there at attention until you pick it up again. I could see this feature failing eventually as the bristles get bent from sweeping or laying about but for now, is a nice feature I wasn't expecting. The little man's birthday is tomorrow and I am sure he is going to love helping me sweep off the back porch with this, I can also see myself picking this up for a quick sweep of the back stairs or quick cleanups as well.I wish it would have been Prime eligible because with shipping, I think I paid a little too much @ $16, but it is so much better than any kid's brooms I have seen at Toys R Us for $10, so a little more is worth it I guess. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works great for pop up campers! *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on July 14, 2014* Bought this after the Camco 43623 adjustable RV broom broke on my second trip in my pop up camper. The wife used it throughout our last trip and said she likes this one "MUCH" better. We just need a better dust pan as we used the one from the collapsible POS the wife didn't like, and the Handy Broom doesn't come with one. Was worried I might not be able to store it prior to purchase, but it fit just fine under the dinette bench seats for storage. From other reviews, said the bristles fall off easily. Not so in my case. Very sturdy and gets into all the tight spaces you may find in a pop up. Highly recommend.Edit (Aug 4, 2014): In hindsight, I could have just been really cheap and bought a regular broom and just cut the handle to the size I want, but this one is still holding up well after three more trips since my original review.
