I usually wear XS-S. I'm 5'4", 122 lbs, 30" waist . I ordered XS and the waist is 23" but stretches to a max of 46". Even with my 30" waist the XS fits comfortably. Actual outside length of pant is 30"-31". Fabric is super light weight. I bought to wear to hot yoga in hopes they will be cooler than typical yoga pants. I noted that the pant fits slightly large but I think that is the nature of the pant style.
