It is much thicker than I expected and very smooth. Ink does not bleed through to the other side. I am not sure about the reviews stating that this is not true A5 size. I don't know what true A5 size is, but I can vouch that this paper is the exact size stated in the description. It fits my A5 binder perfectly and I now have created the perfect journal for myself!
