The bottles were smaller than I had expected. They do come with their own brush, but I find it easier to use my own brush. I bought them for the glitter element, but actually they don't look anymore glittery than my standard gold paint. That might vary depending what you are painting them on. One real advantage is that I seemed to be able to apply a second coat before the first coat had dried.
