It doesn't quite work..And talking of plastic, the 'chrome' looking casing is actually plastic, not metal, so it doesn't look like it would last long term cycling around London roads.. perhaps the manufacturers were thinking about rain and electric shock, but it feels very cheaply made.. I guess I should've considered quality/price..Its a shame that the Description didn't say that its for CAR-Valve type bicycle tubes at the time of purchase..and still doesn't about a month later..When shaking it in trying to reproduce the light as per the description image, nothing happens.. and i took note of how the batteries should go once opened the battery compartment..Not very happy with it but i am over the 28-day return policy, so nothing i can do now..I have kept the batteries, they could be good for something else so they are in my utility cupboard. ### ⭐ Poor quality *by S***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 February 2013* I bought these recently through Amazon and was very pleased that the product turned up so quickly. Really good serviceOff the bike, the lights work really well. As soon as they are moved at all, a nice bright blue light is emitted. I've seen others using something similar around the city and the effect is very strong when put inside a rotating wheel.So, I removed the dust caps on my road bike and went to attach these, hoping that they'd make me even more visible when commuting. At this point, the quality of the product lets itself down. Both caps that I bought fractured when attached to the valve. The cylinder of the cap is plastic and the burrs left over from the casting process mean that the thread is obstructed and bursts the plastic when attached to the valve thread.In all, I'm disappointed with this. I have emailed Discount Stores as soon as this happened but have had no response as yet. I will give them some more time.I guess you get what you pay for - these are simply not up to the job. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very bright - buying more *by E***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2013* Very bright and existing batteries and bulb have lasted daily/nightly use for the past year. Tried to get replacement batteries, but could only find ones for £3 each! Seeing as this was only £1 to start with, putting in £9 worth of batteries seemed ridiculous.
