I find I'm a little wobbly these days and one problem on the mostly narrow roads around here was that if I tried to look behind me in order to know if I could steer out to avoid a drain-cover or a crazed piece of surface (also common), I would not keep a straight course. The Mirrycle mirror is excellent. I can keep an eye on what's behind and concentrate on steering a reasonably straight course. It enables me to steer around hazards knowing that the road is clear. The result is a much more relaxed ride with a greater feeling of control. I fitted it on the right and had no problem adjusting it to the correct angle. The screws are tight so that you can set them to allow adjustment of the position of the mirror without the mirror moving by itself. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect bike mirror *by P***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 December 2017* I purchased this to replace a mirror for my wife's bike that didn't give a good view. This mirror, fitted today and used on a long bike ride is perfect, it is stable, gives a great rear view and is really compact, in fact I have now ordered another for my bike.Looking at the reviews, the negative comments said it was hard to assemble. This was not my finding, it had just three bolts and two options depending on handlebar diameter. It took me two minutes to assemble, I put a dab of oil on each bolt just to make it easy to tighten, not really necessary though. I also had to drill out the end of the hand grip to expose the handlebar tube. It was assembled, fitted and working in under ten minutes. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good Design - Cheap Build *by B***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 October 2019* I've tried several bike mirrors now, read so many reviews and watched a multitude of videos. This mirror has been the best of a bad lot. My conclusion is that there just isn't a good mirror out there for cyclists to buy.With most handle bar mirror, whether top or end mounted, you end up just seeing yourself, especially if you're not wearing a skin-tight Lycra suit. The same can almost be said for this one, but, unlike other mirrors, it extends enough from the bike so that at least a partial view is possible. Any coat or jacket flapping about however, can obscure the view entirely.I've had it about a year now. The female thread at the topmost joint broke in half along the vertical after the first six months and since then it's been supported by a large thick elastic band wrapped around it. However, it's so far gone now that this make-shift solution doesn't work any more.As I say, this is the best of a bad lot. The fact is that, although the design is essentially good, because of a very low build quality, it fails. This is a shame.
