It's not exactly like the bath blankets I have used in the hospitals I have worked in, but it is a very good blanket. The weave is small so no air gaps as I feared there might be. But the cotton breathes while it provides the warmth needed. It does not become oppressively warm during the night as cotton/poly blends do. This one is almost just like it. It seems well made!, no frays, and I even have 2 cats. I couldn’t determine the material of the ones in the ERs, so this one is not “as soft”, but it works well for me. Very pleased at the weight. I have temperature regulation issues, and it’s lightweight, and I’m happy with it.
