I like this drain vs a fumuto valve because it has a screw on cap that utilizes 2 orings to create a leak proof seal, the low profile of it also assures me that some road debre won't pop up and break it off. When you go to drain your oil the drain tube acts like a quick disconnect by slowly opening as its screwed on to drain and closes as you unscrew it. The plug is brass which I prefer because a steel plug I had stripped the threads on my last pan and I had to replace it but just as some reassurance I used PTFE tape on the plug before I installed it ### ⭐ $30 return shipping ?!?! - *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2020* I have a standard 5.9 Cummins. I purchased the slim fit one for my Rebel as I didn't want anything hanging lower than absolutely nessisary for offroading. It came in 2 days after it was ordered, a full two weeks faster than estimated. The install was simple and I tried it out with the last drops of oil left in the pan.I can see where people complain about the drain speed. It for sure takes longer, about twice as long in fact, to drain. It is a but frustrating but I will happily take longer to change the oil if I can do so with less mess.The design is top notch. I have full confidence in this product.
