I wore it over a very thin tee shirt to avoid chafing. It is too bulky to wear under a fitted shirt, so I wore it under a loose cardigan which looked fine and was barely noticeable. Overall good product for the price. I got the larger one. As a female I am a size 14-16 shirt/jacket size and a 40 bra band.
