What I didn't realise when I was choosing this as his Christmas gift was that it was going to turn me into a coffee drinker too. I like a nice weak coffee but normally only have about 10 cups a year, but I am a once a day coffee drinker now. This grinder is just so lovely and easy to use. To do my 30-40 grains takes about 12 turns, it gives a very satisfying noise, we don't clean it after use, as it doesn't get mucky. You can adjust it to grind granules to your size choice.
