This uRay encoder is high quality and just works, very simple to use, it streams reliably and has every setting I could think of. Customer service is very responsive to questions and request for assistance. I was curious about the API this device uses and they were able to help me formulate an API call to change the setting I was looking to change. Most other AV companies don’t provide such a high-level of customer service and it’s so great that they provide awesome customer service like this. One thing to be aware of; so far I have only been able to get L-PCM 2 channel stereo audio working with the HDMI encoder. Perfect for streaming a cheap DVR, etc. And works sweet on Live youtube! *by O***. on February 1, 2020* 5 STAR!!! This encoder is so awesome!! I had bought a cheap amazon 8 ch dvr system, and needed to provide the video feed, from it, to a person out of state, but the online features on that dvr are horrible and locked into some china based cloud. But the dvr does have a stable HDMI output. So I bought this awesome encoder, plugged it into the dvr's HDMI and quickly unplugged the china dvr right from the internet. This encoder works so smooth, many options, and is so easy to setup. I do see the minor ip issue where it is in a factory static IP mode so if you don't have any basic networking knowledge or patience to follow the little book they give, then I could see some people having issues if your router lan IP isn't set at 192.168.1.1. It's really not that hard to figure out how to change the encoders network settings.
