I’m not sure where the negative reviews are coming from, but the only thing I can think of is that the negative responses are due to it not being an all out war like the Purge. Kirsten Dunst leads a great cast as a reporter trying to cross a divided Country that has slipped into lawlessness. But it shows you what life could be like in the event of Civil War in America today. First time I watched it, I wasnt sure if I liked it or not. But thats because I was expecting a War movie. After the 2nd and 3rd watch, I really like it and thats because its a movie about people and not war.
