My hair has a lot of natural red through it. The UV however did a number on bleaching most of my hair ginger. Probably, metals in the water didn't help also. The first wash with this shampoo and conditioner made a bigger difference than I expected it to. It didn't de-orange my hair but it definitely toned it down from vibrant. I have only used it maybe four or five times as my hair doesn't need this every wash.
