When I came out and showed my husband, it took his breath away. I even texted my sister and she said that's the one! The dress is exactly as stated, I am 5'4" 200+ not ashamed ladies..love my curves and wear a 16w. This dress fit perfect. The bodice is long and loose as it was back in that era. The skirt is a bit long but nothing that 3" heels won't fix. The color, the beading, the flow...amazing and for the price...incredible. LOVE LOVE LOVE....When I looked at myself I felt like ROSE from Titanic..ok maybe her mom. LOL...Ladies you will not go wrong with this dress. The caplet sleeves are great for the coverage you want on the arms. The downside, the dress does bunch but if you are handy with a machine, easy fix. Again, for what you pay...so worth it!! The dress is almost exactly like the picture, except that I bought the burgundy and black but the lining is more red than burgundy. The dress does not have a zipper, you just have to slip it on, just be careful with the sequence as they can get displaced when you are putting it on or taking it off. The red under lining can shift a little but that is relative to the body type. The length is awesome, I love dresses that fall over my shoes as I am 5’7. She is 5'1" so the dress was long on her we solved this problem with 3" heels & a mermaid petticoat...no hemming...worked perfectly. Her jeans size is between a 10 & a 12 so the 10/12 dress fit her perfectly...I would say that if you order your true size it would be fine...Also I read other reviews that said there wasn't a zipper in this dress but I discovered a zipper on the side...I wondered if these people just didn't realize that.
