Review: Basically fits Takamine GD20-NS - I’ll post this review hoping it will help someone because I was puzzling over whether this would fit my guitar. I bought this for a Takamine GD20-NS, (dreadnought) and it fits fine for me. I see some say that a dread is a bit snug. I can see what they mean, in particular at the bottom of the case (see picture.) First, some dimensions of the guitar: Overall length: 41-1/8” Width of body at lower bout: 15-13/16” Depth of body at endpin: 4-7/8” In the case, and held upright, there is about 1-1/2" of play between the top inside of the case, and the top of the headstock. Held on its side, at the lower bout area there is about 3/4" of play. For me, that’s fine. If you look at the bottom of the case in the picture, the case expands to accommodate the 4-7/8” depth at the endpin. The actual seams are about 4-1/4” apart. While the case is not actually squeezing the guitar, the depth of the guitar is outside the seams. Personally, I do not have a problem with this. I can see where some may call this "snug", but I'm not uncomfortable with it. It zips up fine. Also, some dreadnoughts may differ slightly in dimensions, depending on manufacturer, etc. But this is probably the biggest guitar I'd want to put into this case, depth-wise. Reality check: This case was $20. It’s basic protection. Let’s face it; this is not a flight case. This is marketed as a sort of universal case which can accommodate a few different sizes. Dreads are bigger guitars. I tried my smaller classical guitar in this, and it’s kind of swimming in it. I think the padding is adequate for careful handling. The quality of this case is very good, and most especially considering the price tag. I’ll use this for storage at home, and even to carry from place to place. But I would not use this to throw into the back of a van with all sorts of equipment knocking around. This is obviously not the case for a really expensive guitar. But bottom line, I received exactly what I expected: An inexpensive case for basic protection when the guitar is not either on its stand, or better yet, in my hands being played.
Review: Good Fit for Yamaha FG800J - I bought this bag for my Yamaha FG800J. It is a good fit. Has plenty of room for tuner, picks, and other accessories. Only problem is that one pockets is very narrow and deep. Not sure what is suppose to go in that one. If you put anything short or small in there you would have a hard time getting it out. Otherwise quality is good and provides good protection for the guitar.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this fit an Ibanez gsr200b?**
A: It will. It fits my SR305 just fine.

**Q: Does this come in a large flat box or is it rolled or folded in a smaller box?**
A: It comes folded in a small box.

**Q: Does this fit an archtop jazz guitar?**
A: From images I have seen on the web, the archtop jazz guitar looks shallower than a dreadnought acoustic. Measure the overall length. If it's less than 41 inches, you're probably good to go.

**Q: How good is the quality?**
A: Zippers, pockets, finish and size are all good quality. Material is tough. There are a few innovative elements like the non-skid rubber foot and placement of the handle at the midpoint that make it easy to maneuver the guitar once loaded. The shoulder straps are nice if your walking and need to carry something in addition to the guitar. The padding is minimally adequate. That's not a quality issue. It's an economy issue. I only paid $16. My guitar fits perfectly - shallow bowl Adams style model

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Fit for Yamaha FG800J

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits Yamaha APX600 well
*by R***O on March 22, 2024*

I recently got a great deal on a Yamaha APX600 off of craigslist. I wanted a gig bag to store the guitar and for light transport but the name brands are priced about the same as I paid for the guitar! This bag is perfect for my needs and was on sale on Amazon. The bag appears well made, zippers are good and there is decent padding for your instrument. The fit is decent for my smaller concert APX guitar. I don't think a larger dread would fit in this case. The padding is light so this is not the right bag for a life on the road, but for a simple road trip or transport to practice it's fine. There are a lot of handles and backpack straps. Obviously, if I had a more expensive instrument I would buy a better bag of hard case, but for this guitar the bag is perfect. Great little bag at a good price for light padding! We will see how well it wears but so far it's good for my needs.
