I added a little honey and the taste isn’t bad at all, not much different to other vanilla flavoured shakes I’ve had in the past which have been full of rubbish but taste good. I’m pleased I’ll be able to continue using a healthy shake with clean minimal ingredients.

### ⭐ Bad Formula Change: No Longer a Go-to

I’ve been using NuZest for the last 3 years, and was by far my go-to protein; within that time it had a great taste, good grade protein and low carb, no sugar. I used to regularly recommend it. This order was incredibly disappointing. Opened the 1Kg tub (had to go round the seal with a knife as the removable strip doesn’t perforate all the plastic) and I was hit by a very different smell than I was familiar with. The taste was metallic and bitter with a very unpleasant after-taste. Had a google to why the change was so drastic - they’ve changed their formula, replacing Thaumatin (Katemfe extract) for Stevia. Such a shame as it was my staple for so long, but now pretty much undrinkable and the price tag is no longer justified.
