It works much better in our kitchen than when we had warm white bulbs - easier to see what you are preparing, etc.The quality of the bulbs are not great however. They seem to have electronics problems. I have installed around 20 of them around the house and we have had 3 fail (two within a couple months of installation and the other around 4 or 5 months after installation).
