The watch is big, and needs a 26mm quick fit band, which limits your choices, so I decided to spend a bit on this OEM version. This band is great. It seems to be an upgrade from the previous version, with one velcro section always staying in place, so you don't have to make a bunch of micro adjustments. I've always liked nylon as a watch band material, and this one is textured into a soft form for the velcro, but it does not fray like you sometimes see with velcro in other forms. Very comfortable band for everyday use and long bike rides. The only nitpick is the you cannot just push the band through the quick fit pins as it's just a hair too thick. It's really simple enough to take off and re-attach the pins, but it is confusing the first few times. Plus it’s definitely more comfortable to sleep in. No issues with this EXCEPT price!! I mean, $40?? REALLY?!?!?! It’s MAYBE $1 to MAKE (if that much!)?? But whatever. I got this one just to see if I liked the style, but I bought additional almost-identical bands here on Amazon by Abanen (“Abanen Hook and Loop Quick Dry 26 mm Woven Nylon Ultralight Sport Watch Band, $21.99 for TWO!!) that seem pretty good!
