The pouch is the same size as 2 other brands of Strapless Jocks that I have, and has the "double-layer", so I know it would fit fine. However, the waistband is very wide and very tight. The XL size would not fit my 34/35" waist when I held it up to my body. Also, the waistband is not fabric-wrapped as it appeared to be. It is raw nylon/elastic. So, I didn't try it on. I very much like another version of this "strap-free jock" or back-less thong pouch underwear produced by Arjen Kroos. That other version (ASIN : B0FHGTTMD2) has a narrow, flexible, fabric-wrapped band.
