Regarding tilting, I'm absolutely baffled as to why many reviews here say that this monitor cannot tilt, or requires unscrewing and then rescrewing to manually tilt it; maybe I am misunderstanding what "tilt feature" means when it comes to monitors? In fact, I found it very easy to adjust the tilt of this monitor (even the instructions say that the monitor can be tilted up to 15 degrees!) without having to unscrew the base. I eventually found that you simply have to push the base piece into the back of the monitor with a very strong push, and eventually it will very audibly and noticeably *snap* together, and it will then be locked together very securely. You will not get true-to-life color reproduction of the sRGB color space. It is a basic TN panel. That does not mean the monitor doesn't have a pretty picture. If you need a budget monitor, this is perfect. I could easily dock a star for the lack of DisplayPort input(s), or something else that's pretty much irrelevant for the average person, but I won't. I prefer IPS panels, DisplayPort inputs, HDMI inputs, etc. But I have been building computers since I was 10 years old, and I do not settle for anything less than the most affordable best...I do not need a $10,000 display...but I'm not afraid to drop $1,000 for one either. I am a fan of Acer LED displays. My wife had a netbook made by Acer, and the display was rich in color. This is the same way. It doesn't look washed out as some others do. All in all, this is worth the money. A 23-inch FHD monitor with DVI and VGA inputs for $100 is not a bad purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Terible viewing angles, but as a monitor it works okay *by S***. on February 22, 2014* I am okay with his monitor for this price, but do not expect a high end monitor at this price point. So lets go into the pros and cons; Pros: 1. Affordable 2. Good resolution (full HD is certainly plenty on a screen this size) 3. Matte screen is easy on the eyes 4. Cables are included, both DVI and VGA cables are included, however there is a caveat I will mention in the cons 5. Stylish ultra thin design 6. Low energy consumption Cons: 1. Terrible viewing angles, the worst I have seen in an lcd screen not on a laptop in years. 2. The blacks are not deep, and contrast/ brightness adjustments do not help (this might be more a function of the bad viewing angles) 3. Assembly could be easier (you have to push the monitor onto the stand very hard to mount it, the tilt mechanism has to be loosened to be usable) 4. VGA cable is not SVGA so it cannot output 1080p signal, why Acer included a cable incapable of powering the monitor's full resolution is beyond me. 5. No Vesa mounting holes All in all this monitor is okay, but if I had to do it over again I would have chosen a different one. While I like the design and am fond of the matte display; the poor viewing angles are a bit of a letdown, and the lack of mounting options is also rather unfortunate. Update 6/8/15 Another customer informed me that there is an adapter available to make this monitor Vesa mountable, however, the price of that item seems to negate any cost benefits of this monitor.
