My Ion is really hot when it's set at 400 degrees, except it's not dual voltage! I have not tested it if it's truly dual voltage yet. I'm returning this item, and looking for another dual voltage curling iron. Iron clamp does not hold onto hair. I have thick hair with texture and it slides right out. Had to take huge chunks of hair to get it to stay and then the curl wasn't what I wanted. Would've liked to return but return window was closed. Also the tip gets very hot, came with a "glove" but who wants to deal with that.
