    Daylight Lamp Table Base

We knew it was heavy before buying it; but it does exactly what it is supposed to do as a very sturdy base. Although it is advertised as a Table Base, we are also able to use it as a floor mount for the Daylight Deluxe Magnifying Lamp XR for my wife's sewing/embroidery. So although it seemed rather expensive; we do not need to buy the much more expensive floor mounting base. So due to its weight it is not very portable, so my wife uses the table clamp which is supplied with the Magnifying Lamp XR when she attends embroidery classes.
