It did the job. ONly downside is that It doesn't keep his feet warm but that is my problem as this product doesn't claim to cover feet. It would be perfect if there was a foot cover instead of the elastic cuff, but we have been using it for 9 months and went to bigger size and happy with it. I roll up the sleeves and they stay put all night. The sleeve is long and wide and my daughters arm did get stuck inside the sack one night and she had her hand coming out the neck area. I found her asleep like that. It was not in a dangerous position at all because the neck area is pretty wide too but just looked like she tried getting her arm through and gave up and went back to sleep.
