Review: Exactly what I needed and works great! - I needed this exact specific bulb for my blacklight lamp (the bulb in mine has been broke for at least four years now). I used to love that thing and instead of spending $25+ in the mall on a new blacklight and lamp I bought this bulb on desertcart. Shipped in a couple days and worked right out of the box. No noise, no flickering, and good quality bulb that lights up my room wonderfully. I can't wait to use it the next time I have some female company over ;)

A: Base of bulb

**Q: is this safe for a reptile light?**
A: It's a blacklight, in no way would dark light cook your fish 🙄

**Q: My Intertek blacklight base is 20 inches. Will an 18 inch tube fit?**
A: Not sure what the length of your bulbs are. If it is the same length and the bulb insert he it should.

**Q: Does this require a fixture with a starter?**
A: Not that I know of. I just put it in a light fixture that was already in the house. So I’m not too sure. But the bulb itself work great! Still bright and working.

I grew up with fluorescent black lights there's something about the fluorescent black light that Led's just can't replace the color of the tube the glow of the light still the best.
