This is a traditional who done it. Great voices to listen out for are Stephanie Cole as Ariadne Oliver, Mary Wimbush and Donald Sinden. The play is directed by Enyd Williams and has depth and atmosphere. The running time is 90 minutes. Attractively packaged but I would have liked a chapter listing like on the older format releases. This collection from AudioGo is good value and the sound quality very clear. Collect the set and you will have a definitive radio Poirot in John Moffatt. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delightful *by I***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 January 2010* This was the first of the BBC radio adaptations of Christie's novels I had heard. I enjoyed it very much, a good and faithful adaptation which is well acted and passes by very quickly - perhaps a little too quickly! John Moffat is an excellent, understated Poirot and he has some very good support from the rest of the cast. Stephanie Cole is good, if a little stiff as Mrs Oliver and in general the remaining voices are well matched to the characters except perhaps for Major Despard who doesn't sound quite right - a little old and uptight. On the whole though - a delight! It certainly encouraged me to sample more of them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Cd *by O***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 May 2016* I've never had a bad BBC Agatha Christie cd. The quality of the productions makes me look forward to every new addition to my collection. Cards On The Table is no different. John Moffatt as Hercule Poirot provides great entertainment.
