Take the Horse Houdini Challenge. Stop their fly mask disappearing act. A superior patent pending unique design of 3 strategically located darts across the forehead creates a “Vizor” made from a soft UV proof EVA lining and a UV proof PVC mesh. It lifts and extends the mask up and prevents it from collapsing on the eyes. This combined use of EVA lining and PVC mesh not only helps avoid eye injuries but also increases the overall UV protection to 95%. The combined use of these two materials also insulates the forehead from the heat of the sun and increases shade and ventilation to the eyes. A first of its kind Safety Quick Release Clip System features two adjustable straps (one over the poll behind the ears and one under the throat) along with a Velcro strap under the chin. This not only creates greater size adjust-ability to help fit your horse better, but also helps to prevent your horse from removing their mask. I have an old mayor Miss froggy who has to wear one 24/7/365 because she has uvitis let me tell you what if I hadn't been able to find this mask for her probably would have had to put her down. That's how great they are. I own six of them. Only had a problem with one that I returned and the company made good. Again the best fly mask ever. if I could give it a 10 I would but sadly only five is available. Will continue to buy them

**Q: Can you use this over a halter?**
A: Yes, it can be used over or under the halter. The stiff brow piece is below the brow band. We also use it when we ride. It fits over the bridle as well.

A: No the ears are not removable.

A: Hello, I think you are asking if this EquiVizor fly mask is made to go over the Clear Recovery Vizor? If I am  understanding your correctly, then no it is not. The EquiVizor fly mask with Ears is a Stand alone  fly mask. The Recovery Vizor includes the matching Fly mask jacket that fits over it. I hope that answers your question. These fly masks are the best flymasks I have ever used. One episode of uveitis and my horse has worn only these since. I have also improved her overall health plan. For now no recurrences. The only improvement I would like to see is a little more sturdiness at the corners about the eyes, there wear out, but mask is still issues useable.
