I've been interested in trying one of these cup-trainers for awhile, but hadn't bit the bullet. This was too cute to pass up! Bonus: dishwasher safe and BPA-free, PVC-free, Phthalate-free!So far, we've just used water in it, and it seems to work well. I really liked that this cup is more cube-shaped than totally rounded like a normal cup, which really helps it not be so slippery in my toddler's little grip. Evidently that is to also prevent it from rolling, too. The cup part is translucent, so you can see how full it is. It has a "lid lock for travel" to prevent leaks, by just twisting the top of the lid and snapping it into place. I thought I'd done that (by clicking it into place) and we ended up with minor leakage -- that could have been entirely user error, and I haven't put that feature to the test again. The lid/spout part has a little dial-like piece of silicone. that you can twist for a slow or faster flow of liquid. Since my daughter is used to sippy cups or straws, we're using the slow. Occasionally she does get too much water and can't keep up with swallowing, so we do get a big mess of water down her front.
