I'm often on the floor playing with them. This fit the bill. I'm 5'4, 138 pounds, 28 inch waist and 40 inch hips. I bought a US size 8. This fit well. I like the fact that stomach is flat and works well with layered fitted shirts. The pockets poke out a little more than I like, so i just pinned them shut. I'm thinking I may sew them shut permanently. That allows for ease of movement walking if you have a long stride, but I find the weight little bulky. The skirt is true to the depiction, the only negative, if any, is that the zipper seems a little weak compared to the fabric of the skirt. I am 5'8" and the length is perfect. Looks great with lots of sweaters and belts and scarfs and boots. Perfect for winter.
