We had given us problems with other foods or he would act like it got stuck in his throat. We have been feeding him this mixed with a bag with seeds and dehydrated mill worms. Wedgie is 7 years old and healthy as any Blue Silky can be - never had any health problems - I really believe it has to do with the quality of his food! He seems to always prefer crumble vs pellets this has quality ingredients —- I’ve been very pleased with it - it has a nice color (doesn’t look old or vary in color has a fresh nutty smell vs the stuff I buy at the supermarket or feed store that usually has an older or sour smell - this smells fresh and I love the bag size is manageable I usually store in a 5 gallon bucket - he’s just one chicken so I really doesn’t need a huge bag of feed.
