German brand self-production "Made in Germany Remscheid" Turmfalke knife steel - blade steel - tool steel product information "steel - 1.2235 - approx. 3.00 x 36 mm / 500 mm long" 1.2235 steel also known as 80CrV2 or L2 C: 0.81 Cr: 0.53 V: 0.17 universal carbon steel with very good machinability and polishability. Ideal for non-rusting knife blades. Also suitable for blacksmithing. This steel is ideal for kings that are subjected to shock loads (e.g. hammess) hardened 60HRC. Important: our knife steel is hardened. Achievable final hardness: 60 HRC. Heat treatment: hardening at 840 °C in oil starting at 200 °C (2 x 1 hour). Dimensions (mm) - approx. : 3.00 x 36 length – approx. : 500 mm rustproof/rust supports: no. Other sizes are also available on request. The product contains an invoice showing VAT.
