I tried it on my BVK, Ticrx, and Axiom 2. To be honest I do fly fish a lot but I am not a person who may notice the subbtle changes. It has a really slow sink rate which I thought would work for my needs and that didn't work out for me. It has nothing to do with the quality of line, it did what it was supposed to do. It went right through the guides and I had no problems casting it. It like most modern WF lines cast very similar to me. I'd love to blame the line or rod for my casting shortfalls but I was able to get it out where I wanted it just like any other WF line. If I had not picky thing to say about it would be the blue to white fade is hard for me personally to see the white section of the line as it lands. I think most fly fisherman look at the line as it lays down to interpret the cast, (did I get that fly to turn over?) Or to watch for strikes. Granted it is an intermediate and is slowly sinking. Great line, I would buy it again and think I will be buying more fenwick because of it.
