I never wore a helmet as a kid when riding bikes, but I know it's the safe and smart thing to do now. And I'm used to wearing helmets since I also ride motorcycles. This one is equipped with MIPS, which I'm familiar with because of motorcycle helmets, and influenced my purchase. I barely notice this thing on my head. It's lightweight but feels high quality. The fit and finish are excellent, as I expect from this brand and the research I've done on it. The chin strap works well with me and doesn't rub or make me uncomfortable. The adjustable, universal fit dial makes this helmet so easy to wear. I haven't tested its protection, luckily, but I have confidence in this helmet to keep me safe if I ever crash. I've ridden in mild weather so far and the helmet is well-ventilated without making me feel cold. I don't think it would every make me feel warm, but I don't need it to. Outfitted it with the Isode II MIPS helmet light, which fits perfectly into a rear vent. That with the flouro yellow/green color makes me feel very visible on the road. Overall, love this helmet.
