These things are awesome when you have to wear a face shield. Wish I had a pair of these 20 years ago.

Needed something to wear while using a large model riding lawn mower. The 25dB hearing reduction provided by these muffs might even be a bit much since all sound is reduced which could present a hazard in some cases. However, they certainly save the ears after 6 hours of steady mowing! The muff seals are soft, generally very comfortable and provide a good seal. On the negative side, since they are behind the head muffs, they tend to clamp more securely than others. In my case I wear glasses and the muff pressure against the bows eventually becomes uncomfortable. Perspiration can case the muffs to slip around the ears as a result of the weight of the behind the head spring. This leads to occasional noise leak and constant adjusting if there is a lot of head movement. Add in the pressure on the eyewear bows and it can get stressful! But the hearing protection they offer is excellent and most important.
