They are so small and mine don't even look silver. They look like a bronze metal. Also one has a slightly larger misshapen black stone than the other. I wore them every day for 2 years and never had a problem. This summer I had one fall out and couldn't find it so I came back to get another pair. I was skeptical when they came because they looked a little different than the last pair I had and didn't exactly match the images. (The black wasn't flush with the medal when you look at it from the side like it is in the pictures and in the last pair I had). I had these for less than 6 months and one of the "stones" fell out. It seemed to just be a hollow piece of plastic.
