The trap is of great quality but lacks the ability to open it to remove the crabs, as well as a bait holder to keep bait in the center of the trap.In use, this crab trap catches crabs as well as the bulkier chickenwire crab pot I've had for years but removing the crabs through the opening the crawled through can be a serious issue as the crabs are quick to grab onto the netting the trap is made out of.I now keep this crab trap in the basement of my RV 100% of the time given it size but I've yet to again since my last trip to the Texas coast. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great design, ok quality *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2020* I recently bought two of the smaller pots for upcoming backpacking trips.
