This bottle opener was bought to replace the poorly designed one that came with my wall mounted bottle opener. The original bottle opener was screwed onto a piece of a wine barrel and was magnetized to capture the tops as they popped off. But it tilted the bottle so severely that I'd always make a mess trying to use it. That issue was immediately resolved once I upgraded to this one. This bottle opener lets the bottle tilt more upright. Its very sturdy since it's mounted on 4 screws instead of just 2. It looks vintage and the warm color looks awesome against the wine barrel wood backing.
