As a drink, it actually tastes quite nice in it's own right, just as long as you don't expect it to actually taste anything like Barr's Irn Bru because despite much wishful thinking on my part, it just doesn't...(seriously, not even a wee bit) :( It's much fruitier tasting than Barrs Irn Bru and is really sugary sweet. I had expected it to taste something along the lines of the supermarket's own 'iron brew', but supermarket ones are far, far closer in taste to the real thing than this one is.It's nice enough if you just fancy having something a wee bit different for your sodastream/snowcones etc and aren't really fussed about it actually tasting similar... but if you do want an actual Irn Bru type flavour, then this is not the droid you are looking for I'm afraid! ### ⭐ NOT NICE AT ALL SUGAR FREE TASTE AWFUL full of nasty saccharine *by R***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 July 2020* Check the description as it didnt say at the top that its sugar free so I'm disappoint as I wanted the one with sugar as I have had the normal one of these with sugar and it's great BUT THIS IS HORRID it's full of saccharine and other nasty sugar replacement stuff that makes it taste horrid like toilet cleaner smalls so all I can say is go for the one with sugar and it tastes great on your snow cones but THIS sugar free version is vile tipped it away as the replacement sugars like saccharine are more dangerous than the sugar itself.
