They're a bit too long but they're nice and sharp so they can make a good dimple and drill into both the plastic of the fender liner as well as the splash guards. Tools needed, 8 mm ratchet for the fender liner screws which you'll reuse. You'll need some type of short Philips head screwdriver, I use the icon bit driver from harbor freight. And with the ratchet I use the small green Pittsburgh 1/4-in drive flex head, great with the rubber handle so it doesn't Mar up the body. I don't think they're the best looking splash guards on the market, but good value for the money and they seem quite durable. Time will tell. The color is a bit more charcoal black than black.
