As a female, these fit great. I know they’re marketed to men but there’s nothing in the fit that keeps it from working for women as well. They’re the perfect length in my opinion. For reference, I’m 5’7 and 145 lbs. The medium fit great. I will definitely be working out in these. I would call these high rise due to how it naturally sits on my waist. Other women will probably know that our waists are higher than men’s. I think the length of the shorts works really well for this and doesn’t ride up or cause any discomfort as it sits on the waist. It also is comfortable in the crotch area. These are totally lightweight which I love for lounge and summer.
