I have very wavy/curly hair so give it a quick blow dry leaving slightly damp before wrapping round the band. It stayed in place and was comfy to sleep in at night. Undid the velcro and unwrapped the curls in the morning. Lovely bouncy curls, looks like I've used a wide barreled tong. I usually style the front of my hair a bit but otherwise good to go! It does the job if you prep your hair first (I apply some mousse in the hair and I make sure the hair is damp before rolling it on the band. I also tighten the band to secure it in place before I go to sleep).
